Unique Bidet
I was tired of those plastic watering cans, so I paired an antique, copper pitcher with an Indian wood carved plant stand for a beautiful take on a traditional bidet (or Istinja in Arabic).

Counter Top Serene
I love using bold colors to offset dark surfaces. In this photo, I used a shimmery plant pot atop a brown marble counter. The plant is an small inexensive indoor one that I placed on top of a plastic container to give it height. The Turkish copper box holds miscellaneous counter clutter, ( I despise clutter), and reflects the brown of the counter. The painting has bold reds and green and it is engraved leather made by a Spanish artist.

Floor Seating
Low seating area in kitchen. I wanted to create an easy way to eat on the floor and the small cushions helped with that. We just move them around and use trays for the food. It is simple and beautiful. (Faux silk cushions from Ross, only $4.99!!)
